John Maloba
Afande John Maloba, host of OB 47, weekdays 1 AM to 4 AM
John Maloba presents OB 47 on Radio 47 as Afande John Maloba, on weekdays from 1 AM to 4 AM. Radio 47 describes him as a veteran presenter and a seasoned communicator and host.
OB 47 is a late-night show that mixes entertainment with public service. Listeners reach him by phone, SMS and social media on security, traffic, work and good citizenship. The name stands for the police occurrence book, and listeners call him "Afande" because he acts as their voice and eyes. Its regular segments are Sema na Afande, Report Desk and Doria ya Burudani.
Radio 47's own profile of Papa Nasty names him as John Maloba, so the same presenter also hosts the weekend reggae show Dreadbeat Reloaded under that name.
